Arctic Sea Ice Set for Minimum Maximum

With only 3 months of Arctic Sea Ice thickening left we are at the make or ice-break stage.

Currently sea ice is 14.4million square km as of March 5th 2015.

Lowest max was 14.61 square km in 2011.

One thing to note is that if Max stays low the Min in September will be below our estimate of 4 million square km for sure.

Difference from this and other years is that the new ice in the Arctic is thinner than ever before. This is leading to quicker melt and loosening of Ice which generally drifts South since North is blocked.
